  14.        The system administration tools have been completely
  15.        redesigned.  The oooobbbbjjjjeeeeccccttttsssseeeerrrrvvvveeeerrrr iiiissss nnnnoooo lllloooonnnnggggeeeerrrr sssshhhhiiiippppppppiiiinnnngggg, and all
  16.        dependencies on it have been removed from the system
  17.        administration tools.  You can aaaacccccccceeeessssssss rrrreeeemmmmooootttteeee ddddeeeevvvviiiicccceeeessss aaaannnndddd
  18.        rrrreeeessssoooouuuurrrrcccceeeessss on a per-machine basis.  Most notably, all
  19.        functionality available in the IRIX 6.2 system
  20.        administration tools, as well as some new functionality
  21.        previously unavailable in the IRIX graphical interface, has
  22.        been implemented in new IRIX 6.4 for Origin, Onyx2, and
  23.        OCTANE AAAAccccttttiiiivvvveeee GGGGuuuuiiiiddddeeeessss.

  25.        System administration tasks are accomplished using AAAAccccttttiiiivvvveeee
  26.        GGGGuuuuiiiiddddeeeessss, which are step-by-step tools that walk you through
  27.        the system administration procedures that you need to
  28.        perform.  They inform you what you will need and what will
  29.        happen in the task up front, so you can prepare for the
  30.        procedure or decide to do it at another time, avoiding
  31.        unnecessary interruptions in the process.

  33.        In the nnnneeeewwww SSSSyyyysssstttteeeemmmm MMMMaaaannnnaaaaggggeeeerrrr, you're presented with two
  34.        columns.  The table on the left lets you navigate through
  35.        the main categories.  The list on the right shows the
  36.        options for that particular category currently chosen. For
  37.        example, you can click on the Hardware and Devices category
  38.        on the left, then choose the Install A Modem guide from the
  39.        options that appear on the right. Hypertext links in the
  40.        documents provide the means to navigate through the
  41.        categories, to choose guides, and to obtain additional
  42.        information and definitions.
